A former builders yard and prefabricated single storey office that has been developed in to 129 dwellings over 1-5 storeys for a mix of housing tenures . To facilitate the development a master plan was prepared for the site and adjoining areas . This included new areas of public realm and improved connectivity to the wider community. The accommodation was developed as a series of blocks around a number of court yard spaces.

Includes 80 Town houses and a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments , a new community centre and 8,000sqft of commercial space. The site lies within a Conservation area and adjoins a large number of listed buildings. The development includes affordable housing and off street parking.
Lewisham
Remodelling and extension of an existing 1960’s building in south east London to provide a Veterinary Surgery with RCVS hospital status and an additional 2,500 sqft of treatment rooms, offices and nurses accommodation. Two floors were added to the existing structure utilising cross-laminated timber, which enabled the surgery to remain operational throughout the works.
Hackney Wick
Material Architects were one of 3 Architects who obtained a detailed planning consent for the regeneration of a 2.5 hectare site in Hackney. The development was for a new build mixed use scheme of 525 new dwellings, plus 12,000 sqft of complimentary commercial uses. The development includes affordable housing and off street parking.
